Aliyah Terry, a 35-year-old mother of two was reportedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend, days before releasing a book she co-authoredThe Queen Xperience, to help women escape domestic violence.
The deceased was found stabbed in her Charlotte home on July 2, and was pronounced after being rushed to the hospital. Hours before the incident occurred, the police were called in following a heated argument between her and her live-in boyfriend Isaih Henderson III. However by the time officers had arrived, Henderson had fled but he returned shortly after. The police were called back to the scene just before 2am, where they found the domestic violence book author lying in a pool of her own blood.
“She was a beautiful person inside and out, kept a beautiful smile,” Nakita Davis, the book’s publisher said of Terry. “I want women to walk away knowing there is help.”
32-year-old Henderson has already turned himself in to police, and has been charged with Terry’s murder.
