First, Bobby Brown said that his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was ‘awake.’ Now, Bobbi’s aunt, Tina Brown, has reportedly said her niece is not just awake, but is off of life support! Things were looking really bleak for Bobbi Kristina, 22. The daughter of the late Whitney Houston has spent the last three months in a medically induced coma, but things might have finally turned around for her. While her father, Bobby Brown, 46, claimed that Bobbi was ‘awake,’ her aunt, Tina Brown, has reportedly said Bobbi Kristina has also been taken off of life support!
Tina Brown backed up her brother’s April 18 claim that Bobbi Kristina was “awake” by posting an update to Facebook, reports Us Weekly. Tina shared the good news with an April 19 message, telling everyone her niece has woken up and is no longer on life support:
“So many messages,sorry can’t answer them all right now but I will get to them later… Just allow me this time with my family,,yes,she woke up and is no longer on life support!,God is good!!thanks for your prayers,still a process,but she is going to be ok.
This may be the miracle that the Brown family has been praying for! Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, 24, found Bobbi unconscious in a bathtub on Jan 31. She was placed in a coma to keep her alive, but attempts to bring her out of it resulted in violent seizures. Things haven’t looked good since then, and it seemed like all was lost.
We wait until the Brown family releases an official statement on Bobbi Kristina’s status. Until then, we continue to hope for the best for Bobbi Kristina and all her loved ones.
