It was a black Friday on November 21, as a female pastor and Founder of the Great Word Ministries based in Asaba, Delta State, Pastor Joan Godwin, lost her life alongside over 10 other passengers, when a truck belonging to billionaire industrialist,Alhaji Aliko Dangote, lost control
and rammed into a bus they were traveling in.

According to eye witnesses, the truck crushed the Toyota Hiace bus the pastor and others were traveling in when its brakes failed.
Pastor Godwin, who hailed from Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State, was a kind and generous woman whose passion for God was unequaled. She will be laid to rest on Friday, November 27, in her hometown.
