Let’s face it, without Kris Jenner there wouldn’t be a Kardashians empire. Not only does she show of her legs more than any other woman her age, but she’s also managed to produce five successful daughters (oh, and Rob Kardashian too), and today she’s turing 60! It’s been another crazy year of highs and lows, and today we’re celebrating it all in honor of her special day. Relive her year in the spotlight here!
Her daughters may dominate the news, but don’t get it twisted — Kris is a star in her own right! This past year has a number of personal achievements for the famous momager, among them a couple of gorgeous magazine covers! Most recently, Kris joined all five of her daughters on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s 50th anniversary issue. The KUWTK matriarch couldn’t resist showing off her fabulous legs for the shoot, posing pantsless just like her much younger children. Hey, if you got it, flaunt it, right?!
Kris was also honored with the opportunity to attend several New York and Paris Fashion Week parties, thanks to her daughter, Kendall’s, new It-model status. At one of these A-list affairs, she even flaunted her bare legs (once again!) under a pair of see-through Chanel pants. It’s not exactly what we would call age-appropriate attire, but hey, when in Paris!
This year also brought a lot of love (and sex!) in Kris’s life. The mother-of-six and her much younger boyfriend Corey Gamble, 35, took their steamy relationship to new (and very public) heights, sometimes even freaking out the other members of the family with their extreme PDA! Khloe has made it clear on several occasions that she is grossed out by Kris’ wild sex life, and thinks that their relationship is just plain “weird.” “Hearing them have sex is wild and I’m traumatized,” she admitted, adding that she and Kim Kardashian, 34, heard the deed go down while at Kris’ house. Awkward!
The two do appear to make each other very happy though, and reports have even suggested that marriage could be in order! The two lovebirds originally set off wedding rumors when they were spotted posing outside the Grand Palais in Paris, France on Oct. 6. Cory appeared to be wearing a gold ring on his wedding ring finger, which had many believing that Kris may have already proposed to the music manager. Neither Kris nor Cory have confirmed the rumors, but one thing’s for sure: they’re definitely in love!
Speaking of love, we can’t recap Kris’s year in the spotlight without discussing her complicated relationship with Caitlyn Jenner. While the two have been separated for over a year now, it wasn’t until this past May that Kris’s ex-husband Bruce Jenner, officially came out as transgender. Caitlyn Jenner made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine, and inside had some not so nice things to say about his former wife. Kris and Caitlyn have had their fair share of tear-filled encounters since then, with Kris even exclaiming f-k you Bruce during an episode of KUWTK. Thankfully, the two have come a long way since then, and now appear to be even friendly. It wasn’t always easy for Kris, but if anyone can handle that kind of drama, it’s her!
