A Spanish man, along with his female companion, planned a mini trip to London to coincide with the first sales of the Apple Watch.

Josep, as the man is simply known, is a 30-year old administrator from Spain, and the first person to walk out of the Dover Street Market shop in Mayfair with the coveted Apple Watch.
The Dover Street Market is only one of a select few boutiques worldwide, allowing people to try to buy the Apple Watch.

Brandishing his new purchase with child-like glee, Josep told Mashable.com how delighted he was to have the watch on his wrist. When asked what function he was most pleased with, he responded “All of them.” He even managed to avoid dropping it in his excitement.

Shoppers have lined up, despite being asked not to, in front of the shop to purchase Apple’s first device to be developed independently since co-founder Steve Jobs’ death.
