Jimi Agbaje To Use Drones To Monitor Rigging During Lagos State Guber Elections

There are reports making the rounds that the PDP Governorship Aspirant for Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje would be making use of drones to monitor elections this Saturday. The Jimi Agbaje campaign organisation has reportedly concluded arrangements with an Israeli based drones manufacturer for the deployment of unmanned drones across Lagos the Governorship elections on April 11.
The drones will be used to monitor rigging across the state.
A source claims that a member of the Haifa based firm arrived Lagos over the weekend and the unmanned aircrafts they were contracted to supply are fitted with high capacity cameras that can record videos and capture still pictures from a very safe distance above the ground. The team is reportedly in Lagos to test run the drones ahead of Saturday
The Agbaje campaign team’s aim is to use the unmanned airborne devices to monitor the elections across the state and capture real time images of incidences such as underage voting, voter intimidation, ballot box snatching and deployment of thugs. The captured information will then be relayed in real-time to the PDP situation room and made available on various media platforms within minutes.
It is also being reported that Alex Otti the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia state may also be making use of drones, to monitor the elections in his state.
