Instagram is finally ready to let ladies #FreeTheNipple! Well, ladies with babies anyway.
Due to popular demand, the photo-sharing site has finally updated its nudity guidelines to allow photos of "women actively breast-feeding."
The rule change comes in the wake of last year's controversy surrounding Toronto mom Heather Bays, whose account was deleted after she posted breastfeeding photos.
Thus began the breastfeeding selfie (or "belfie") movement to get her and others like her reinstated.
Another important change? Women who have mastectomies will now be allowed to post photos of their scars. And nudity in paintings and other artwork has finally been deemed appropriate as well.
Thank goodness for common sense! You can read the rest of the rules changes HERE!
