Spain’s legendary midfielder, Xavi Hernández is reported to have officially signed a 3-year contract worth £22M with Qatar side, Al Sadd to bring his glittering Barcelona career to an end.
The current Barcelona captain, who still has a valid contract with the Spanish team until 2016, might be playing his last ever game for the club in the Copa del Rey final at the Nou Camp stadium on Saturday, May 30, 2015 or in the Champion League final in Berlin on Saturday, June 6, 2015 if the club reaches that point in the two competitions.
Xavi Hernández started his youth career with the Spanish team in 1991 before progressing to senior team, where he has been till date. So far, he has won 25 major titles with Barcelona, making him the most successful player in the history of Spanish football.
