Shocking: Man kills his daughter’s boyfriend in Cross River State

A young man was was killed by his girlfriend’s angry father. The 22 year old Douglas Ojugbo  was killed for having an affair with the daughter of Godwin Elewana.

 According to eye witnesses, Elewana, who lives in the Cross River Basin Development Authority, Eight Miles area of Calabar, Cross River State, had warned Douglas to stop coming to his house to see his daughter but Douglas persisted and visited on March 10. Elewena, who could no longer hold his anger pursued the 22 year old boy from his house and shot him to death.
 The young man was first shot in the arm, in the leg and then Elewana bundled him into his car before driving off to the Federal Housing Police Station. The young man died on the way to the police station.
 Neighbours say that the policemen quickly buried Douglas at the Goldie Cemetery to cover up the crime.
