Tragedy struck in Ibeshe area of ikorodu as 16 newly recruited police officers lost their lives in an accident on Sunday January 20th.it was gatherer that the 18 seater bus they were traveling with collided with a Mercedes Benz 190 in Omu aran Kwara state. The victims were on their way to Nasarawa state when the accident occurred around 10am in the morning.We were reliably informed that the Mercedes Benz had a locked steering and in an attempt to unlock it,it veered off and collided with the bus,which hit an electric pole and a house then burst into flames killing most of the occupants.The driver of the benz was not injured and now at large.
What a sad end for them,so sad.
